Sharon McDonald

Sharon has worked extensively in human resources, employment relations and health and safety since 1992. She has over 26 years’ experience in a broad variety of human resources/employment relations and health and safety roles in various industries and is adept at fitting into different teams and ensuring her advise is practical and delivers for the organisation she works for.

Sharon’s strengths include human resource strategy, employment relations (disciplinary matters, change management, union relationships and collective bargaining), employee engagement, facilitation, leadership development, development of policies and procedures, project management of policies and procedures, project management of HR initiatives, performance management, outplacement support and recruitment for roles from entry level through to senior management.

Sharon has spent many years involved in primary industry, specifically dairy and veterinary services, engineering and manufacturing but she has also worked in other industries such as horticulture, hospitality and aviation. Sharon enjoys working with organisations from large scale corporates to small to medium enterprises where she finds human resources has a significant impact and makes a positive contribution to the business.
